World Sports Writer Candace Cantwell is a seventeen year old eleventh grader at Barton High School. She plays third base and already has several colleges interested in her. This season is special for Cantwell, not just because she went all-conference again but because this time she's leaving her name in the Arkansas Athletics Association record books in a big way.

World Staff Writer A Helena-West Helena woman was found guilty of endangering the welfare of a minor, battery in the 3rd degree and criminal trespassing by Helena-West Helena District Judge Rusty Porter. Barbara McClurge, 37, of 923 Poplar, has appealed her conviction and sentence to Phillips County Circuit Court.
